It is September 15, which means the wait for the two-part full length releases from San Francisco’s DJG is finally over. For those who have been living under a rock for the past few years, DJG has been pushing the deeper sounds of bass music for the past few years with some phenomenal releases on esteemed labels such as Subway, NarcoHz, and N-Type’s Wheel & Deal.
For his latest release ‘Voids,’ which comes in two parts, Dean has decided to circumvent the traditional formula and releasing the tunes on his own, allowing you to name your own price for both MP3 and FLAC copies of both.
DJG has been kind enough to make ‘Lichen’ from Voids Two available for preview here on icnt.mx

Head over to http://music.djgsound.com to listen, and get your download on. Much thanks to DJG not only for making these releases available so easily to the masses but also for continuing to push the real raw sounds of dubstep in America, and beyond.
On a personal note, much respect to Dean – I was fortunate enough to see him DJ a set here thanks to the Atlanta Dubstep crew, and even more fortunate enough to get to play after him. Truly a stand up individual on top of being a top notch selector and producer. Big up!
