7-Oct : Soul Shakedown : Free R&B/Soul/Funk

And now for something completely different, me and the rest of the Heat Promotions crew have come up with a new concept for first Thursdays in Atlanta. Taking a departure from our EDM-infused evenings we are taking a step back to the classics to present a night of classic R&B, Soul, and Funk classics.

A majority of the selectors for this evening are planning straight 45 sets, which should be exciting to hear and watch. We have some exciting guests for this as well, tapping the local stylings of Osmose and Grav3y for their first appearances at a Heat event, definitely excited to have them on board alongside Inferno and myself.

If you are looking for something different to get down to next week come down to Highland Ballroom and swivel your hips to some classic sounds, it’s free all night so you really don’t have too many excuses not to drop through.
