Much respect, and a happy belated birthday to the crew over at Big Up Magazine who celebrated their second year of operation late last week. Big Up Magazine has certainly been a force in the dubstep / bass music community as one of the go-to sources for quality reviews and interviews with producers and DJs who are putting a spotlight on to our scene.
Appropriately, Big Up tapped their own reviewer, and top notch selector Alex Incyde to provide a birthday podcast to the magazine’s podcast series. Incyde, a Dub War NYC resident, also contributes to the management of the HotFlush and SureFire Sound labels – so you can rest assured his finger is always on the pulse of what is fresh.
A fellow SubFM resident like myself, Incyde always manages sets that blend deep classic sounds and keeping an eye forward for upcoming and unknown talent. Additionally, Incyde has also started releasing a handful of his own productions that are nothing short of spectacular, expect no less from this podcast.
